MASTER OF ECONOMICS IN APPLIED ECONOMICS
ABOUT
The Master of Economics program in Applied Economics focuses on agriculture, food systems, the environment, and natural resources, preparing graduates to adapt to economic paradigm shifts through innovative and forward-looking thinking. The program equips students with the skills to become competent applied economics researchers and effective practitioners, contributing to sustainable agricultural development, food security, and responsible natural resource management.
Graduates will acquire up-to-date, internationally relevant knowledge, strong analytical and professional skills, and a solid ethical foundation, enabling them to address complex global challenges and contribute responsibly to national and societal development.

Preferable Qualifications
Applicants must submit these documents with the application form:
- A scholarship supported by public or private organizations for a master’s degree study
- A good concept note for potential research proposal
- Proof of English proficiency requirement by the Graduate School, Kasetsart University
- Statement of purpose
- Three letters of recommendation by former advisors and/or supervisor
