The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics hosted a special seminar titled “The Future of Food Security: Lessons from Thailand.”
The session was honored to have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orachos Napasintuwong serve as the moderator.
The seminar featured presentations from distinguished guest speakers, including:
- Dr. Maria Tuazon, who spoke on the topic: “FAO programs, activities, situation and challenges in food and nutrition security in Asia Pacific region.”
- Dr. Emorn Udomkesmalee, who spoke on the topic: “Thailand Journey on Food and Nutrition Security: What have we learned?”
- Ms. Ravinan Chamchalerm, who spoke on the topic: “Thailand’s National Food Policies: Framework and Strategies.”
